Celebrate New Year’s Eve in Whistler for an unforgettable end to 2016
Wine, dine and dance the night away at a New Year’s Eve celebration to remember! Whether you plan to indulge in a multi-course dinner, or just hit the dance floor and party the night away, there is plenty on offer to entertain all ages and budgets!
Here is a selection of the best New Year’s Eve options in Whistler for 2017.
Four Seasons Whistler
New Year’s Eve at The Four Seasons will be a party like no other! This years’ theme is ‘Alpine Heights & White Winter Nights’, a spectacular gala that includes a luxurious dinner and dancing in a fabulous festive setting. Feast on lobster Caesar salad, beef Wellington with foie gras, Alaskan king crab and sashimi, and much, much more.
From 8pm – 10pm, enjoy live Canadian funk, soul and R&B from The Phonix, followed by DJ George V keeping the dancefloor alive into 2017.

Two dinner seatings will be available at Alta Bistro on New Year’s Eve. At 6pm a 3-course menu will be served for $120, and at 9pm a 5-course dinner will be served for $175. Individual menus are currently unavailable, but guests will have several options.
New Year’s Eve 2016 begins at 5pm at Bearfoot Bistro, with a 3-course menu starting at $98 (children’s menu starting at $12).
The late night ticketed event is a masquerade themed extravaganza, with live music, party favours, masks, a DJ, and a 5-course fine-dining menu featuring regional seafood and wild game, beginning at 8pm. The early bird price is $298 until December 27th.
The Cinnamon Bear has two options for New Year dining; an early buffet style dinner from 5pm – 6pm, and a plated year-end celebratory dinner from 7.30pm – 10pm.
The early dinner is priced at $55 for adults, or $27 for children aged 6 – 12, and includes a selection of tasty entrees like roasted prime rib, free run chicken, or salmon and ricotta tortellini, as well as a variety of salads and appetizers, charcuterie, soups and seafood.
The late dinner is an elegant 5-course meal, with added amuse bouche and a selection of mignardises to end your feast. Dishes include Canadian favourites like Dungeness crab, east coast lobster bisque, roasted tenderloin of Alberta beef, and a selection of artisan British Columbian cheeses. The dinner is $125 for adults or $35 for children aged 6 – 12. Optional wine pairing is an additional $55. Children aged 5 or under can dine at no charge.

For a casual option that’s sure to be a fun night, head to the Crystal Lounge, where you can dance the night away to live music from the McQuaid Trio. Bubbles at midnight, hats and whistles provided! Cover is $10 at the door.
Dance into the wee hours at the Dubh Linn Gate, where Ruckus Deluxe hit the stage at 9pm for a New Year’s Eve party to remember. Adults only after 6pm, and no cover means it will probably fill up fast, so arrive early to secure your spot on the dancefloor!
New Year’s Eve kicks off at 8.30pm at the newly refurbished Earl’s, where you can enjoy a set menu for $75, followed by party favours and a DJ to ring in 2017! To reserve your table, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ring in the new year with an elegant plated dinner at Grill and Vine. Indulge in four courses that include roasted venison rack, grilled 12oz bone-in beef tenderloin, or Atlantic lobster taglierini, as well as a selection of appetizers and desserts.
Dinner is served 5pm – 10pm and is $139 per person.

The Mexican Corner will have 3 seatings for New Year’s celebratory dinner:
At 5pm, they offer a 3-course menu for $39 and a 2-course children’s meal for $19.
At 7pm, a 4-course menu will be served for $59.
And lastly, the late seating at 9pm is a 5-course dinner for $99, which also includes a Mexican hot chocolate to enjoy on the balcony whilst watching the New Year’s fireworks!
All the menus are a showcase of wonderful Mexican ingredients and come with a speciality drink.
Milestones will be offering a 3-course for $50, a great place to dine before heading to your New Year’s bash.
Quattro has two seating’s on New Year’s Eve; the first being a 4-course for $85 and the second being a 5-course for $165. Choose from a mouth-watering rustic Italian menu that includes buffalo mozzarella, lobster risotto, lamb rack, and a Whistler locals’ favourite; the spaghetti Quattro – that is only for Italians!
